Conversations and icecream 🙏🏻🙏🙏🏼🙏🏽🙏🏾🙏🏿. We took the kids to @milkandcreambar 's newest location in Jersey City yesterday. The line was around the block, but my vanilla icecream with fruit loops and blueberries was so worth the wait. Huge congrats @parenthood_by_air @chase.mad.love. Please #supportlocal

While we looove going on day dates with the kids, it's not only what we do with our kids that's important but the things we say and teach them. So while we can criticize what people are saying or not saying, doing or not doing, at the very least, it's very important to control what goes in and out of your home. Show your family what it means to embrace ALL and love ALL - teach them that all colors are unique and beautiful.

This week's lesson: 🌱🌱🌱 PLEASE READ

I spent a few minutes outside this morning to meditate and journal.

I took sometime to give my #gardenia plant some TLC. I removed a lot of the old leaves so that new flowers and leaves could grow. I've never done that...took the time to remove them. I would just let them naturally fall out...but in waiting for them to fall out, that too means waiting for the possibility of new blooms.

And I realized, that's what we need to do in real life. Get rid of all those old leaves, actively get rid of everything that doesn't serve us- people, things, bad habits. Don't wait for them to leave you or magically go away. Make a conscious decision to to remove them. Spend the time to remove excess waste and make room for those new blooms grow. That Friday Feelin! Memorial Day weekend means summer is almost here! I know a lot of us are bummed about not having bbqs or pool parties with friends/loved ones but it’s still fun to be able to share it with our littles. Try some of these activities with the kids this weekend. They are so simple yet they are creating memories for the kids that they will remember for a lifetime:
☀️have a water balloon fight
☀️ make fruit popsicles ☀️ pitch a tent in your backyard and go “camping”
